It has been six long years since we have seen the priceless faces that resembled the Simpsons but had more of a stoner friendly cherry on top, but now Comedy Central is reviving the show, buying 26 new episodes from Fox Entertainment.
The show isn’t going to air until 2010, but for many hardcore fans that is a short wait.
Matt Groening had a funny statement he slipped into the official statement from Fox, “We’re thrilled Futurama is coming back. We now have only 25,766 episodes to make before we catch up with Bender and Fry in the year 3000.”
